Greece vs. Czech Republic in Wroclaw

Previous matches: Greece cameback a goal and man down to draw Poland. Czech Republic had a match to forget in a 4-1 loss to Russia.

Greece strategy: Greece started to play better against Poland when they inserted Kyriakos Papadopoulos and Dimitris Salpingidis as substitutes. The young Papadopoulos brought structure to the defense and Salpingidis scored the equalizer and drew and penalty. Greece needs to get off to a better start than they did against Poland, and start the 20 year-old Papadopoulos and the sneaky striker Salpingidis

Czech Republic strategy: Milan Baros and Tomas Rosicky must be more involved. Baros will feel like that revenge is in store because Greece eliminated a Czech Republic team he was part of at Euro 2004. The Czechs need to resolve their issues in the defense and defensive midfield.

Prediction: Czech Republic 1, Greece 0

Poland vs. Russia in Warsaw 

Previous matches: Poland are disappointed they didn’t beat Greece, but also are lucky they didn’t lose. Russia pulled their talent together and played a great team match in the thrashing of the Czech Republic.

Poland strategy: Poland must forget about the second half in the opener and focus on their stellar play in the first half. Forward Robert Lewandowski was a threat and Poland was able to attack from the right side.

Russia strategy: Andrei Arshavin was magnificent on Friday was had plenty of room to operate. The emergence of 21 year-old Alan Dzagoev, two goals on Friday, is encouraging for Russia. Left back Yuri Zhirkov must have a strong game against a Poland team that had liberty of crossing from the right flank against Greece

Prediction: Poland 2, Russia 1
